Wang Haifeng, who currently serves as Baidu's Vice President and heads the Artificial Intelligence Group (AIG), will now be taking on additional responsibilities as the Dean of the Baidu Research Institute. Meanwhile, Lin Yuanqing, the current president of the institute, has stepped down from his position, though details regarding his new role remain unclear.
When contacted for confirmation, a representative from Baidu told NetEase Technology that they were still gathering further information on these developments.
