[High-tech LED News] It is reported that Taiwan's Hejing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. will acquire the Asco Semiconductor Lighting Technology Company (USK Lighting) based in Gothenburg, Sweden for US$78 million.
Hejing Optoelectronics said that the transaction is expected to be completed before the end of the year. After obtaining approval from the relevant regulatory authorities, USK Semiconductor Lighting will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hejing Optoelectronics. He said that if all goes well, it will set up a factory in Zhuhai, Guangdong in 2012.
