After becoming the market leader in LED projectors for seven consecutive years, LG Electronics once again celebrated the 2016 CES Consumer Electronics Show with its Minibeam series projectors. The three latest models of the Minibea projectors (PH550, PW1000 and PW1500) are equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for unparalleled connection freedom and viewing convenience. The new product not only follows the design of the previous generation Minibeam projector, but also further slimming, portability and convenience.
The new model PH550 is the first projector with triple wireless connectivity to be small and does not require any cables. Users can send content from their smartphone or tablet to the projector via Screen Share, which enables Wi-Fi mirroring, and wirelessly connect to the speakers via Bluetooth. Built-in rechargeable battery for 2.5 hours of continuous use without connecting to a power outlet. None of the currently commercially available projectors have such a high level of connectivity and freedom. The PH550 is less than half the size of standard A4 paper, and the 550 lumens are the first of all LG's battery projectors.
The CES 2016 Innovation Award winner PF1000U is unique in that it projects 100 inches of image just 15 inches (38 cm) from the wall or screen. The viewer no longer has to make a large space for the projector, and there is no need to worry about someone going to the projection beam. The PF1000U is only one-fourth the size of a commercially available mainstream ultra-short-focus (UST) projector and weighs less than one-fifth. It is the world's first UST projector weighing less than 2 kg. In addition to its compact size, the Full HD PF1000U delivers an amazing 1000 lumens and consumes only one-third of the energy of a competitive model. In addition, the PF1000U can operate at as low as 21 decibels in eco mode. Under the support of these advantages, this model has become the most advanced UST projector in the world.
