In recent years, although domestic equipment started late, it has developed rapidly. At present, the five key equipments of LED packaging production line (solid crystal machine, wire bonding machine, dispensing machine, spectroscopic color separation machine, taping machine) have been partially localized, and the cost performance has been able to compete with similar foreign equipment.
"In the case of package dispensing, there are not too many technical barriers to break through. Domestic dispensing equipment is relatively mature and can completely replace imported equipment." Lu Guoming said that the dispensing machine is not as high as MOCVD. Technical difficulty, it is completely possible to break through the market through the existing technical level.
At the same time, the continuous decline in the price of the device also puts higher demands on the cost control of the packaging enterprise. In the future, the competition of various enterprises is the ability to continuously improve the performance of the product, and this capability requires the corresponding equipment to support.
“The future development focus of Tengsheng will remain on the packaging equipment to further improve the efficiency and precision of dispensing and maintain its leading position in the industry.†Lu Guoming said that Tengsheng will always produce higher efficiency and higher. Capacity, higher precision dispensing equipment as a research and development focus. At present, the company has more than 40 R&D personnel, and the annual investment in R&D accounts for 5% of total sales, and will increase to 8% next year.
New craftsmanship brings new opportunities
In addition to the pursuit of cost-effective, LED packaging technology is changing with each passing day, which also brings new market opportunities to packaging equipment.
At present, the localization rate and online usage rate of in-line LED packaging equipment have reached 100%. These devices are gradually infiltrating into SM D packaging, C OB packaging, high-power packaging production lines, localization rate and online usage rate of the whole line. It is gradually improving.
Different processes require different equipment to support. At present, the COB process is still in its infancy, and the production capacity is not high, and semi-automatic dispensing equipment is often used.
“In the dispensing process, there is a certain difference between COB and SMD. The main performance is that the COB needs to be glued around the dam, that is, the first four surrounding frames, then the glue glue is put in, and the SMD is directly in the cup. Lu Guoming pointed out that SMD has high requirements for accuracy, while COB emphasizes uniformity.
The change and upgrade of the packaging process will inevitably lead to the replacement of the equipment. The consumption of the dispensing equipment is basically more than two years, while the solid crystal and the bonding wire may be faster. "The upgrading of equipment is inevitable, but for the development of enterprises, the speed can not be lost." Lu Guoming said that if you can use money to buy speed, it is the most rewarding investment.
As a device manufacturer, the most important thing is to always pay attention to the development of the packaging process, closely following the needs of customers. The relationship between equipment and process determines that new processes must be in place before new equipment can be matched. “In the past, the time difference between equipment and technology was one year, but Tengsheng is confident to control it within three or four months, and try not to fall behind too much with the needs of customers,†Lu said.
