Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has recently launched a laboratory sample kit featuring high-stability film chip resistors — the TNPW0402e3 (LTW0402e396/4) and TNPW0603e3 (LTW0606e396/4). These kits are designed to help engineers accelerate their prototype development and reduce time-to-market for electronic systems. The new sample kits include approximately 100 of the most commonly used resistance values in both the TNPW0402e3 and TNPW0603e3 packages. Each resistor boasts an ultra-tight tolerance of 0.1% and a low temperature coefficient of ±25ppm/K, making them ideal for precision applications. The TNPW0402e3 (LTW0402e396/4) includes 40 resistors that cover all the fourth-digit values of the E-96 series, with resistance ranging from 51.1 Ω to 100 kΩ. Meanwhile, the TNPW0603e3 (LTW0603e396/4) offers 20 resistors covering the same E-96 series, with values from 10 Ω to 332 kΩ. These kits are AEC-Q200 certified, ensuring reliability for automotive and industrial applications. Each resistor is individually packaged on 6-bonded A5 adhesive paper with clear labels, organized by resistance value from smallest to largest. With a total of 3,200 and 2,200 resistors respectively, the kits give engineers the flexibility to experiment freely until they find the perfect match for their design. Whether it's for precision amplifiers, sensors, medical devices, or communication infrastructure, Vishay’s thin-film technology ensures stable and accurate performance. The TNPW0402e3 and TNPW0603e3 are well-suited for critical automotive systems such as engine control units, braking systems, power management, and more.
