The size of the micro whale M1 is well controlled. The measurements of 175*124*91 mm and the weight of 1.5KG are only one slap for me and can be mastered in one hand.
The biggest design highlight of the Micro Whale M1 is the octagonal geometric element design style. This kind of design brings a benefit and can be easily directed in all directions. The autumn scene in the image above, the sky blue gradient, the layering of white clouds, and the different yellow leaves present are all very well separated. Regarding the control of color, such a small volume of M1 is beyond expectation. However, if you are accustomed to ordinary home 1080P projector, then compared to the micro whale M1, there is still a gap, especially in the permeability of the picture there is room for improvement.
In terms of contrast, projection is naturally superior to television. Especially in the case of lights off, the advantage of contrast is even more pronounced. Unlike the LCD TV can not be completely black, the projector in the dark environment, black is black, is pure black, so this moon photo contrast is very good, highlight the brightness despite the high, but the details are retained The lunar surface can be seen clearly. At the junction of the moon and the night sky, even the uneven terrain can be clearly seen, and the details are quite outstanding.
As mentioned earlier, the Micro Whale M1 can decode 4K video. We specifically found a 4K HDR version of the Blu-ray original "Smurf 2" with a capacity of 53.2GB to see how the M1 performs in this extreme condition.

On the system side, the WUI is quite mature and basically the same with the micro-whale TV. It is worth mentioning that since the processor was upgraded this time, it was smoother when sliding and menu switching.

In respect of noise, in the evaluation environment with a noise floor value of 30 dB, the noise value of the M1 measured at a distance of half a meter from the projector is 48 dB, which may be due to the engineering machine. M1 does not perform as well as F1 PLUS in terms of noise. .
In terms of power consumption, only 45.8 watts are actually measured, which is very low for a projector. It is even lower than F1 PLUS 65W.
